I'm looking for something that's cheap but has decent sensitivity since we don't have many stations to choose from here in flyover country... PrestonTom Posted August 30, 2005 Share Posted August 30, 2005 I have a couple of the other NAD tuners in the 4XXX series. They are quite affordable and pretty good quality. So I believe they are a good value. I will say the biggest improvement came when I placed a $19 Yagi FM-antenna (Radio Shack) on a rotator up on the roof. Posted August 31, 2005 Share Posted August 31, 2005 NAD's older tuners are good deals. ........I switched to listening to radio from internet stations.........mainly www.beethoven.com good signals and with beethoven, no commercials or some crying 19 years old running the mike........... I really didn't feel like messing with a rotor for FM. I've listened to a few things on the internet and the quality is probably adequate for my use, but my link is somewhat bandwidth challenged...
