RayoVac
I have a Ref 7 setup currently for 5.1 (RC-7, RB-75s, RS-7s) and want to add some In-Walls for my rear surround to go 7.1. I have seen the R-5800-W and the RCW-5s shown as a match for the Ref 7 stuff. The R-5800-W has the newer looking woofer like the RB-75s where the RCW-5s appear to be older with the look of the RC-7. The specs are almost identical less the woofer difference between them. The RCW-5s look like they can be had a bit cheaper. Does anyone have any opinion between them? If I could save $50-$100 getting the RCW-5s even though they are older... would you do it. Or would it be best to just get the current R-5800-Ws? Thanks in advance
LebanonKlipschFan
I would get the RCW-5 for the back and move the WDST Rs7's for sides. That was you have a True match. I wont make a huge difference, but the money you save will.!
RayoVac
I already have the RS-7s as the sides (main surrounds)... so yeah the in-walls would be the "Surround Back". Cool... I was hoping somebody would think the RCW-5s would be a better fit, since they can be had for a bit cheaper. Thanks, Rayo
