perthpete
Hi - I have managed to get hold of an old Klipsch corner horn. It is in pretty poor visual condition, but luckily they are built like the proverbial brick-shit-house (yes I'm an Aussie). The grille frames are missing. How can I get hold of one pair (only one speaker, lower horn section only - perfect sub-woofer!). Can I make them, or can I buy a set ? Any ideas how / where ? I will also have to re-veneer it at some stage.
formica
Klipsch does sell replacement units, but you'd have to contact Klipsch down under as Klipsch USA won't ship them out of the country. If they are anything like they are in Canada ($$$)... i'd just build some new ones. Pretty simple construction made from 1/2" (12mm) plywood. I got this drawing from Dylanl on these forums, and they look about right but never compared them to my actual grills. Good luck...
