What's wrong with my KSP400?

Hello everyone,

Two days ago, after watching a DVD movie I noticed that both of my KSP400s were making a very loud hum that I've never experienced before. I turned off the Subs and turned them back to the automatic mode but as soon as I try to play some music, the hum came back again.

Could someone tell me what's wrong with my KSP please? I hope that nothing is hapenning with the internal amps with my KSP400.

Thank you,

Tony

Could very well be the classic ground loop problem. You will have to detach each input in a disciplined 'one at a time' way to find the culprit. Start with the cable TV attachment - by far the most common culprit.

If it is a ground loop there are a multitude of solutions from folks here - all are generally simple and work well...

By the way how do you like the KSP 400's for HT and 2 channel?

Well, I've been enjoying my KSP400 since the day I bought them. I don't know how the other KSP400 owners think, but the KSP400 works excellent in bi-amping mode. In fact, we have three pairs in our families. Keep looking on Ebay and you could get them for less than $1000/pairs.
