thxsubwoofers
That's how Im getting such a great deal. Hey stephen, how much discount off does best buy give when you work there?
stephenp1983
Well there are two different types of discounts. First there are employee discounts through best buy. That means we get stuff at cost or cost plus 5 percent I can't remember. So basicly whatever has a big mark up we get really cheap but some thing hardly a discount at all. For example Cables have a huge mark up. I could get a 8 ft monster hdmi cable regular 149 for like 38 bucks. The second discount is employee accomidation which is what I'm doing to get the speakers. You have to work for best buy and you get discount through certain manufactors. Not all products have these discounts, Klipsch is just nice enough to allow best buy employees to get this opportunity. I did the math though, I will be saving 1100 and something dollars by getting this employee accomidation through klipsch on the speaker set I've selected. strutter
quick comment on bill h. quotes. had it not been for BB carrying the synergy line i would not have purchased them. mine were paid for entirely by gift cards from BB. i would have probably ended up with JBL or something less enjoyable. the JBL's i listened to at BB simply were not in the same class as the klipsch even though similarly priced. i am very happy with my purchase. even got some money back as they went on sale shorty after i purchased them (you gotta keep checking, most people don't) and am glad BB had them. However the sales man was quick to sell me any speaker i was looking at and whatever i was looking at at that time was "the best" in his opinion. i let my own ears decide.
