jakelc15
ok newbie here. I have the klipsch rf7's, rc7, ksw15, bookshelfs ,the whole deal. It is all run by a sony 7.1. Was looking to upgrade to seperates. I had my eye one the aragon 2007 and a stage one. Now that they are not making them any more I was going to look around a bit more. I'm looking for something around the same price range. Pro's con's on any. Also any word on Aragon releasing new products? thanks Jake
MrMcGoo
Welcome to the forum!!! Klipsch is selling off all Aragon products in their eBay store. Other brands to look at are B&K, Outlaw, Rotel, Parasound and Sunfire. Bill
mbajner
I would recommend Anthem
capo72
I like B&K with RF-7's. The only other separates I have heard with RF-7's is Krell. I thought that sounded good as well, but not as mellow and smooth as my B&K. YMMV, Jeremy
JeffDurbin
Welcome to the forum!!! Klipsch is selling off all Aragon products in their eBay store. Other brands to look at are B&K, Outlaw, Rotel, Parasound and Sunfire. Bill I have a Rotel but to the best of my knowledge they do not have a 7-channel amp yet. It is unclear if you have seven speakers or if you just have a 7-channel Yamaha. I know Rotel has excellent resale value.I was watching the new 2007 on eBay from Klipsch over the weekend and it sold for $1,700, which is less than 60% of MSRP. I have seen two-year old Rotel RMB-1075s sold for $800+, only down 20% from MSRP of $1,000. Considering dealer discount of maybe 10% and you are talking about virtually no cost to sample the equipment for six months or a year. You might also want to consider the Adcom GFA-7607 if you must have a 7-channel amp.
jakelc15
I am looking to get the full potential out of my system. I don't want to have my fronts overpower everything else for surround sound. Looking for any recommondations for a great sound. If not a 7 channel could I use multiple amps? I am also using a projector and will need something to switch signals to that. Thanks Jake
