Earle Decker Posted October 11, 2001 Share Posted October 11, 2001 Should both subs be wired in phase with each other even if they are on opposite sides of the room(1 in the front and one in the rear)? i found that if the rear sub is wired out of phase with the front one the subs combined output is about 2db higher. WMcD Posted October 11, 2001 Share Posted October 11, 2001 I'd strongly suggest that you leave them in phase. It may be that out of phase you get a boost at a given frequency. However, I think it would be harmful to overall response. You might be better served by moving the subs around and experimenting.
