brian_h_kim
make sure you have nothing plugged into the aux in on the back of the dock...
007
my nano works fine with my ifi
bmun
I have the exact same problem as miker011. Everything lights up, static comes out. Conversely, there is no problem at all with my son's mini. Plays fine. Anyone from Klipsch have theories as of yet?
FrontLine
Im also having the same problem with my Nano, my Ipod 60G Video works beautifully though.

bmun
Is that a theory or a fact? If the latter, any idea of when a fix might be expected? Thanks.
Larry1
Is that a theory or a fact? If the latter, any idea of when a fix might be expected? Thanks. Some users have just needed to do a reset of the iPod before plugging it into a accessory. To Reset iPod nano toggle the Hold switch (set it to Hold, and then turn it off again). If you need to update or restore firmware see this link
Jay481985
Is that a theory or a fact? If the latter, any idea of when a fix might be expected? Thanks. First hand knowledge? The iPod has lots of quirks and problems as do most electronics. Try on the iPod to spin and click and spin and click in like one second and watch the iPod freeze. It is still a primative computer, it does have a bios too. Fixes will come and go. Heck itunes 5.0 used to cause blue screens of deaths in windows and people claimed that it was a conspiracy to make them into mac users as they had to reformat. But I have seen every sort of problem with the iPod from the shuffle actually catching fire, to the user end fault where we found yellow water inside her iPod and claimed she never knew..... (she dropped it in the toilet while listening to it on the ....)

Jay481985
No but the tech guy called everyone in the boh to come see that....... I thought no way can anyone be that dumb... like the saying goes... build a foolproof system, you'll make a better fool
bmun
Are you asking me or telling me? Or do I just say "First hand knowledge?" in my best Comic Book Guy voice?
