RTTR
I'm going to be picking up my Synergy F-3's on Thursday, and eventually will be buying the rest of the Synergy line, Sub-12, C-3, and S-3's for a 5.1 configuration. Which receiver should I go with to power them all? I was thinking something in the lines of an Harmon Kardon or Denon.
strutter
mine are all conected to an old model denon. never had anything else. if i am in need of a replacement i would probably stay with a denon.
autocross
Nice choice on the F-3's, they are the best sounding tower I have ever had. All of my friends are now buying them after hearing mine. Denons are very good, but expensive. I currently have an Onkyo 602, which sounds excellent, but would now recommend the 703 (More power and a really cool i-pod connectivity feature. It also scales). I have always had good luck with Onkyo, Yamaha, Denon, & Marantz. For the money I would find it hard to beat my $400 Onkyo hooked up to Klipsch F-3's - AWESOME! Have fun, you will be glued to your couch, I sure am.

autocross
Just recieved the Denon 3805 as a gift and all I can say is WOW!! My ears hurt, but I cannot get enough. It is certainly better than the Onkyo it replaces. Although the Onkyo was $400.
Thoriated_Tiger
I've had tremendous success using Panasonic's XR-55 receiver. I find it as well suited to horns as my 2-ch amp... I feel I have seven single-ended triodes each making 100w. That's what the panny feels like. Cheap, too.. so cheap as to be laughable... so I"m gonna get me another.
