I had been running a puny MTX 100watt sub to supplement the audio with my Forte's in my HT. I told myself for several years that the bass was plenty powerful in my living room and a more powerful sub wouldn't make that much of a difference. Boy was I wrong! This Sub-12 is sweet. It quite simply rattles the foundation in movies, and plays the low end of all my music with a clarity I have never heard. I know that the reference subs get some pretty good vibes around here, but this has to be the best bang for buck sub out there. Kudos to Klipsch for a great product!
