DwK Posted October 23, 2001 Share Posted October 23, 2001 The KLH's are 9912 model # 3 way, 12 " woofer, a 4 inch mid.. maby a 5.25 and a 7/8 inch tweeter. The Technics are SB-LX70K model # 3 way, 12" woofer.. 4 inch midrange and a 2 9/16 tweeter. The Technics The KLH's The reason I am asking, is because I am unhappy with the sound from my Pro Medias, not loud enough, not enough boom.. quality.. could be alot better.. but I cant afford quality and boom. I was going to sell my Pro Medias and my MixMan DM2 to my friend for 300$ Then with that 300$ buy a Reciever for 100$, and 1 or 2 pairs of the speakers I mentioned above. I would like but I dont have enough money for... Paradigm Titans and a sub.. That would give me quality and boom. But not sure if it would give the same ammount of boom, or if it owuld be loud enough... Titans are some damn impressive speakers especialy for 200$ but they just... they are small. Well, if you have heard these please tell me your opinion on them.. I am going to try and convince the guys at Best Buy to let me bring in some music and test out the KLH speakers.
