Whats up guys well i finally picked up my SB-3s for

fronts. They sound great with my SC-1 center channel.

Whats the optimum height speaker stands I should use

with these. The speakers are 17 inches tall. Also I

was looking into a set of Wood Tech stands but all

of them are like 8x8 where the speaker goes up top

and the SB-3s are 8 wide x 11.25 deep. If you could

recomend a stand that would work good ( shouldnt the

stand be as deep as the speaker? )and also a Height

of stand I would apreciate it.

Thanks,

Daryl Gregg.

The top platform on the stand does not need to be the same size as the bottom of the speaker, but only big enough to be stable.

The stands should position the speaker so the horn is at ear level when you are in your prime listening position. Depending on the chair or sofa, that is usually around 38" high. Sit in your favorite spot and measure the distance from your ear to the floor.
