Is the finish important to you? I live in Hawaii--one of the reasons I do not just buy a pair--shipping is killer out here. I was thinking of getting a single Heresy 2, but the consensus here is that a forte makes much more sense. The color is not that important to me, however black would be my last choice. I am not sure exactly what color mine are--I assume walnut veneer. The main thing is for them to be in good shape soundwise. No pushed in drivers and all that. As far as price--cheaper is always better--lol! What do you think we could get a pair for? I bought mine so cheap that it had to be a fluke. It was probably because he knew he could not ship them off island, and they do have the invariable plant water stain on one of them--actually bubbled up the laminate.
