brokenarrow1
I just added a B&K 200.7 amp to my system and I am using a HK 635 as the preamp I was just playing some cd's and it apears that the volume is pumping up and down and it almost seems llike my speakers are clipping out there is some distortion. The volume is only at -25 or so. What could be causing this to occur? Is is possible my electrical outlet is or power from my house is not enough? I have the amp plugged into the same circiut as the the Hk 63k but not the same outlet. Please help!!
ironwoods
Is this a model with "EzSet EQ"? If so, have you run the software after introducing the B&K? Is this in 2-channel mode, with a sub? Where is -25 located on the dial(clockwise)? What speakers are you using? Restless dog sitting on the remote?
Arky
Brokenarrow I have a hk 7200 in a 2nd system that has started turning itself up occasionally. Tech support told me the volume control is bad. If you search the audio forums there are a lot of threads on this topic. It is very annoying & I no longer feel safe leaving the unit on when I leave the room.
