kennykimny
Random Question - Can the Klipsch iFi satellite speakers be used with the OmniMount SAT2 speaker stands? Do you guys love your set of iFi's? I'm 90% sure I'm going to purchase these speakers.
GregP2
I'm 110% satisfied. It sounds great for all kinds of music. Also they are a phenomenal system for computer speakers. I have two of them in different rooms and my get a third one for another room. Greg P
Jay481985
you can mount them to the wall with the already included stand
kennykimny
Yes, but I'm going to be using these speakers in a dorm, so I wanted to put them on the speaker stands available to purchase with the ProMedia 2.1 speakers, so that I can save desk space. I don't want these behemoths + my computer and books taking up all of the real estate on my desk!
Jay481985
I live in a dorm also, They are not that big and I am sure that the promedia 2.1 stand will not hold the ifi or rsx-3 speakers.
voxr3m
Sanus EFSatS and EFSatB speaker stands will fit the entire line of RSX speakers.
Andy W
Beat me to it! https://www.sanus.com/pdf/literature/Foundations_Sell_Sheet.pdf The pics of the EF (Euro Foundation) shows the RSX speaker on the stand in the brochure. EDIT: Reply from Sanus... Both the EFSat and the HF1 will come with the brackets for the Klipsch RS, RSX, and Quintet series speakers. Thank you for your inquiry,
wdrazek
Late to this thread, but I love my iFi too. It's great bang for the buck.
tc3sean
I know, its totally worth every dollar when you got them for 215$ w/tax.

Andy W
I know, its totally worth every dollar when you got them for 215$ w/tax. Knowing what you know now, how much would you have paid?
wdrazek
I would have spent about $3-400 if that was the best price available. Above that price I would move up to a Slim Devices Squeezebox and separate amp and speakers. That is my current migration path from the iFi. IMO, the iFi kills the competition and is much better than the iGroove (I own both).

Andy W
I'm just trying to gauge how people view the original $399 price, and if the performance matches the price. Can you get a powered sub+sats with the iFi sound quality anywhere else for $399? ($215 is an absolute steal on the sound per dollar scale if you ask me.) Personally, if you gave me $1000 to buy a stereo, I'd buy the iFi at $399 and give you back the change.
Jay481985
andy, did you check out the other post omn the ifi thread that competed it against the hifi and im7? I find the test having lots of holes and such
Andy W
I was just beginning to look at it...
Jay481985
they do not state where the sub was, the placement of the satellites, the room size and shape. Radioshack meter is not great below 120 hertz, they need to factor that too. lots of other things
wdrazek
I think the reviewer didn't really want to like the iFi but came away concluding that it is the best of the bunch. The Bass EQ and treble boost are interesting but I wouldn't put too much creedence into the Rat Shack FR measurements. Bottom line: iFi is just the best sounding Ipod solution out there.
