You'll need a pair of rca interconnects(just good, nothin fancy) from

the pre to amp. You'll also need rca cables from your source(cd,tape

etc)to the pre,and a good set of 16 to 12 guage speaker cables(nothin

fancy).

I think the ref series would give you a good idea of the sound, although

the Fortes are different if its good on ref it should be good on

Fortes.Your dealer should allow you to audition at home(only good way)

or at least allow a return if you just don't like it.

Unless you have purchased before most dealers only do 10%.If you know

what you want and need no service a local installer will generally do

20%,but thats because they don't diplay etc.

It takes 45' one way driving without traffic jams; otherwise 1 hour at least. I am kind a lazy to back and forth. Hence, just want to try right there right then.

He allows me to pay for the display, and come back to reorder the black color if liking, or return if dislike.

Appreciated.
