QUiKSR20
I just got my KSW-12. And have wired it up. This will be on a wood floor. Should I get a special kinda of either carpet or wood or somehting for the sub to fire into? What should i put under the sub for better sound? I think the sound quality would be increased with something better under it then an old creaky wood floor. Ray Garrison
As long as it's not firing into something thick enough, complient enough and dense enough (say, a thick shag carpet over a LOT of high quality pads) it won't matter what's under it. I'd just leave the bare floor. ------------------ Music is art Audio is engineering
TheEAR
If the floor is creaky as you say,a carpet(small) under the sub would help.I have all my subs directly on wooden floor and I use rubber feet or spikes. No problems, all sounds good. TheEAR(s) Now theears
