Which speaker for HT front: Older KG 3.5 or New F-1?

Hello to everyone. This is my first post on these forums. =)

This is my deal:

I can get a pair of Klipsch KG 3.5 in excellent condition for $100 with local pickup.

I am an employee at Best Buy, so I can get the new Klipsch for these prices (pair):

F-1 $200

F-2 $260

F-3 $340

Would it be a good idea to get the older KG 3.5, or go with the newer F series, even if they cost twice as much or more? They will be used as the front left and right for a 7 channel HT system. Having a heck of a time deciding.. any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

My reply is two-fold. First, you likely don't want to mix and match the older KG series with new F series in an HT system. It won't be seemless.

Second, you are obviously asking because you are on a tight budget otherwise you'd grab them anyway for $100. (But you might kick yourself later if you don't buy them.)
