98_1LE
Last year I bought an SW8-II on eBay for my bedroom system. When I hooked it up, there was hum, but when I swapped it with my living room sub, neither system had a problem. Since I was in an apartment knowing I was buying a house in the spring, I just packed it up and assumed it was a "ground loop" from a search here that would probably go away when I moved. Fast forward to today, I finally hooked it up again. The hum is back, and is variable with the gain on the sub. It plays through the other 5 channels. The system is a Denon AVR-1801 receiver, four KG2.5 and a 2.2V, and the sub. Is the sub shot, or is there something I can do to correct this. It doesn't make noise when I connect it to the main system, but that little sub isn't doing much in the great room.
Mikekid
Hi. Did you try using a "cheater" plug? (3 prong to 2 prong)
