meagain
http://www.zappa.com/cheezoid/whatsnew/zpz/ Has anyone seen this tour yet? We're going tomorrow here in Chicago. Sounds interesting - yes?
oldbuckster
That is very interesting indeed, have wondered when a Zappa rebirth would start, this just might do it, fine line up of talent, bet Steve Vai can play the hell out of Zappa, very interesting........indeed.......... oldbuckster
Hard to believe no response to this thread. Not a fan of Zappa's , but you can't dismiss his place in Rock History. A man ahead of his time, sometimes he was out in left field with his writing, but the man could play a guitar. Try "Hot Rats" if you don't think he could play. Vai, and Bozzio, together on stage, should be good. Don't forget about Frank, and what he did to preserve Rock music down there in Washington D.C., I'll bet he head them shaking their heads at those hearings. Rest In Peace, Frank............... meagain
I was JUST thinking about this... No one comes here. I really think there should be a 'talk about music/concerts' section under 'audio'. I'm going to start a thread in 'general' though I'm 1/2-tempted to start it in 2-ch. It was interesting.
oldbuckster
Then they'll be complaining about it. Seems to me that people would rather talk about their equipment, than talk about the music they play on it, or the artist's that make the music. If it wasn't for the MUSIC why would you need the equipment?
