kenratboy
Hello everyone, I need some help. My music room is a MONSTER. It measures 26 feet long, 15 feet wide, and 9feet tall. I only listen to music, as I dont have a home theater, or TV in there. What size sub would I need? I listen to mostly electronic music, with other stuff tossed in there, so BASS is essential. Budget aside, what size sub do I need? Would a KSW-15 do it, or do I need more? Any help is much appreciated, thanks for your time.
TheEAR
WOW a 26*15*9 room is a huge room.If you listen to electronic music you need solid bass. For this task I would see only a few subs doing justice. SVS Ultra(two subs) with Samson 1000 power amp(will be plenty, trust me) Velodyne HGS-18(sub bas subwoofer,BIG OUTPUT down very low) Revel B15(will be plenty) Klipsch RSW15(should do te trick, heck get two! LOL) Aerial Acoustics(very much like a SVS Ultra in gorgeous finish and a pletora of options, much higher price) Sunfire Signature(two units will shake the foundations) That is IT,all the above subs have BIG output, quality sub bass and are first rate quality products. Why do I recomend them? I TESTED ALL OF THESE AT HOME and own several! If these are great for a bass freak like me(i also listen to a lot of electronic music at times)they will be plenty for just about anyone. I recomend you auditon some in the list. TheEAR(s) Now theears
