StLouisVegan Posted August 15, 2006 Share Posted August 15, 2006 I have noticed that my tweeters are not working on my forte II speakers....the mid-range and woofers works perfectly fine...any suggestions on what I should do...or should I replace them. BEC Posted August 15, 2006 Share Posted August 15, 2006 You can remove the tweeter by taking out the screws holding the horn in place from the front. Then unplug the wires from the tweeter. Best way to test them then is to use a meter to measure resistance of the voice coil at the two terminals on the tweeter. Should read 6 ohms or so if good and open if not good.
