Macallan Posted August 27, 2006 Share Posted August 27, 2006 I can get a good deal on a 5.1 Rotel RSX-1056 to drive my RF-7, RC-7 set up. Anyone using this receiver? I will use a B&K 200.2 for the mains and the receiver for the center and rears. I have read about a hiss from this receiver any one using it? Fish Posted August 28, 2006 Share Posted August 28, 2006 The 1056 is a good avr if you want HT and good 2ch.The only hiss issue worth noting is on the center and surr speakers a small hiss can be heard when listening to 2ch(mains) only source.This is something you would have to walk to the speakers and listen for but it is present on Klipsch.That's the only complaint I ever had w/the 1056,the least complaint I've had of any avr.
