godhammer9000
hello all, I have a Promedia 4.1 system that I love to death, but I just moved into a dorm so I don't have room for the speaker stands I usually put the rear speakers on. I've looked all over the place but I can't find any ceiling mounts for them . If there aren't any mounts out there, do you guys think it would work to drill a slip joint into each of the speaker's legs and hang them from the ceiling by wood screws into the rafters? thanks, Chad
erickoegle
I couldn't see why it wouldnt work. I just unscrew the base from my speakers and bought a 4" angle bracket from home depot. its a L shape 4" on each side with 2 holes on each side. I just use drywall anchors and screw them into the wall, and just use the klipsch speaker screw to screw the speaker to the angle bracket. less than 3$ for 2 of em.
