shimband Posted November 22, 2001 Share Posted November 22, 2001 i need a recommendation for a new sub woofer. i currenetly have a Yamaha YST-SW80 and it seems to crap out a lot. my room size is 21X10 with 7' ceiling. I'm looking to spend $300-$400. I was thinking about the KSW 12??? My Yamaha has amp output of 85W, High-cut filter of 50Hz-150Hz, and freq. response of 23Hz-170Hz. My other speakers are KSB 1.1, KSF10.5 for fronts,KSF C-5 for center. I'm using a SONY STR-DB1070. Any help is appreciated. I want to sell it in order to get a pair of SVS subs for my room which is 3000 cubic feet. I will sell it for $250 plus shipping. It is in excellent condition. My zip code is 38008.
