Ed Cook
Are there any problems with setting Cornwalls horizontally?
mungkiman
some people prefer it that way. older cornwalls had labels on the back with "up arrows" pointing to the top as well as the side. someone here will probably post a picture... DoubleJ
I have a standard '78 cornwall that I have laying on its side on a stand that is about 3 feet off the floor. For what I'm using it for (Rear center channel) it works alright. If I were using it as a center speaker, I would like to have the driver alignment like a vertical cornwall. I'm very interested in "Popbumpers" thought of maybe..(not speaking for you, Pop) of making a conversion kit. All I can say is give it a try....YMMV.. JJ P.S. I'm not sure if the standard cornwall has the same structural build as a Vert, but keep an eye on cabient for any stress. This may or may not be a problem.
