gbrlex
We may not find a RB993. I am also considering the adcom 5503. I'm currently using adcom for the center (200w) and surrounds (100w). Rotel may be coming out with a 3 channel 200wpc amp. One of their techs told me they were getting a lot of pressure to do so. boston_klipsch
So the Adcom u are using right is the GFA-2535 ? .... Does that amp work well with Klipsch speakers ( reference series) Thanks
gbrlex
You are correct. I'm using a GFA 2535 (200w) for the center and then a GFA 2545 (100w) for the surrounds. I have been pleased using them with the Legend series. I use a Rotel 1080 for the mains and have been trying to find the RB993 to go with that amp. I have read that the RB993 runs extremely hot. I have even considered going to a Rotel 1095, but I'm concerned about the quality of the 2 channel audio. If you're interested in Sunfire, there is a unit 5 X 200 on ebay. The current bid is around $425.
woodsman
gbrlex, I have a Rotel RMB 1095 listed here in the HT section. It is great in 2 channel. I have a Gemstone amp as my main, and the Rotel is just as good in 2 channel. You will find it on page 2 here. Where are you located ? woodsman
Gary, sorry I did not recognize the initials. I am here at work and not really focused on all the little things. I will respond to your email in about an hour from now, when I get home. Jeff
