christjared
I am current using bearshare to download music on my laptop. You can download the entire album from them and not have to sort through songs, I thought this was a great option to use, but when songs are finished downloading they are in .wma format and they are protected which means I can not burn them to CD's. Is there a way to convert these files to .MP3? Is there any other way around this people have heard of? Thanks
toddvj
If you can't burn them to CD, you won't be able to convert them to MP3 (nor would you want to). I don't know anything about Bearshare, I thought it was like Kazaa, but looks like you can only burn "Green" files, or pay to burn "Yellow" files. Q: Can I burn my Bearshare music to CDs with Bearshare 6?Answer: Yes you can. All the tracks labeled with a green CD icon can be burned free of charge! You can purchase Premium Tracks, the ones labeled with a yellow CD icon, in order to burn them to a CD. You can right-click on any Premium Track(s) in the Search, and either click Download, or Buy Song(s).
