DrWho Posted November 23, 2006 Share Posted November 23, 2006 Ya, the rear port points to them being the Quintets. The cabinets are going to be a bit larger and dig deeper than the promedia lineup. Are they "HT" speakers? "yes" - but even the promedia satelites would work ok for rear speakers too provided they were near the listening position. Doozer Posted November 24, 2006 Author Share Posted November 24, 2006 I had suspected they were fairly small, but I cant tell from the pic. I am looking for a fairly inexpensive set of surrounds. I moved into a new house and couldnt take my in ceiling surrounds I had with me. I would like to put a new set on the side walls this time, instead of above my head on the ceiling. The couch is on the back wall so I guess i would be better with a pair of WDST speakers though. Unforetunately, my funds are limited at the moment, so I was looking for something on e-bay that might be cheap but passable until I get some "real" ones. and i refuse to buy anything other than Klipsch.
