Brian Bowles
My 4.1's are getting really old. The amp still works but the sub is bad. I am using the 4.1s with a HSU STF-2. I saw where Best Buy has the Quintet IIIs on sale for $249. I just wonder how good of a deal this is. I would still need to buy an amp/receiver. What do you think? fst96se
I bought a set today, I wish I could say they are going in my family room around my plasma, but this set was actually for my mom's house. I listened to them for a bit at BestBuy, and I thought they sounded really very good. FYI, I have an RF-82 system in my theater, but don't need quite that level of sound in the family room! I wish I could have bought another set, but I picked up four RB-10's for the theater instead!
leerocker
If it were me id go with a set of quintet II's on ebay for approx 175 or so. Havent heard the new line but the specs seem a bit better on the older ones. Just my 2 cents
