AndyKubicki
I've been on the forum for years, but always stuck to the 2 channel. Now I noticed the Com Audio- how cool! Anyone have opinions about using Klipsch as monitors when mixing/recording in the studio?

khorn51
I have used klipschorns and heresys as moniters in a studio . The khorns were real hard to place in a control room as they were built in special corners hung from the ceiling upside down this was so the sound would not bouce off the mixing console. But 90% of the mixing was done on yamaha ns10. The heresys were used in my first studio for about a year then they were replace with UREI timealinged altec base 604 speakers. Today I use adam speakers as the mains and the old yahmahas ns10m as nearfeild. The khorns still get used for playback in the studio. l
colterphoto1
I heard that we're getting some calls for pro gear and studio monitors on the West coast recently.....
Steve Phillips
About 3 1/2 years ago a recording studio called me, they had 6 Cornwall's from about 1968 or 70. The Heresy should be fine, as well as the Cornwall, any series I's, II's or III's. I am a bigger fan of the I's and III;s though, just my pref.
