jaop71
Hello everyone, <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I have a Harman kardon 340 receiver, 55W per channel. I am planning to buy a RB-51 home theater system, is it worthwhile to spent that much on a 75W speakers even though I will be using a 55 w per channel receiver?. Will it be evident the difference in sound quality compared with the RB-10 home theater (50 w speakers system)?? (Take in consideration I will be using the same 55w per channel receiver). Thanks in advance for your help J.
jrios212
j, go with the rb-51 package. those speakers have a sensistivity rating of 92db which means that they will still play plenty loud and sound great with a 55w amp. i have a pair of RB-75s (older model) that i am powering with 50w and they still sound amazing even though they can handle up to 150w. let me know if you have any questions, jacob
justin240
I have the same receiver powering rf 62's, and its plenty! Keep in mind that HK underrates their receivers compared to other manufacturers. I would go with the rb-81's!
