justin_tx_16
what do you mean, when you use surround? like when you select 4.1 output on your sound card or when you turn the surround knob on the CP-1? If it is lessened by lowering the computer voluema nd rasing the Pro's then it is certainly a sound card problem. What you can do is try turning up the wave volume to 100% and then turn the main volume down a little till little or no hiss and then mess with the klipsch volume. what is probably causing this (hopefully this) is your EQ is set wrong. open your windows volume manager and select advanced under hte main volume selecter. then move the treble to the left a little. also try this in your music and video programs. if you still have a hiss, uninstall the ahrdware (the sound card) including ALL SOFTWARE, PATCHES, and DRIVERS. Then reinstall. If THAT does not work, try returning the sound card for a new one. Might i suggest the Accoustic Edge, the Game Theater XP, or the Voyetra Santa Cruz. What sound card do you have currently? ------------------ -justin I am an amateur, if it is professional; ProMedia help you want email Amy or call her @ 1-888-554-5665 Klipsch Home Audio help you want, email support@klipsch.com or call @ 1-800-KLIPSCH RA# Fax Number=317-860-9140 / Parts Department Fax Number=317-860-9150
