cleith
Can someone tell me what the 2 sets of terminals are for? (I can't read the labels and nothing in the manual) I connected to the bottom sets. Any advice? Thanks, Charles
michael hurd
The two sets of binding posts are there for bi-wiring and bi-amping. When bi-amping ( using seperate amplifiers for the woofers and the tweeters), the gold plated straps must be removed.
cleith
Thanks Mike, I guess that won't be a problem for now, as I just have one amp, listen to music, pretty basic.
spokebender
What is bi-wiring?
Canadian_Dude
Bi-wiring is running two sets of wires from the same amp. It is supposed to have the same effect of using a heavier guage of wire. There is no real benefit to it.
