jperrewe
Yamaha RX-V870 Receiver equipped with a mono low pass out. I'm purchsing the following Klipsch speakers and would like to know the best set up: RS-3II surrounds RC-3II center KWS-12 sub RF-3II Tower or RB-3 Bookself? When I hook up the sub woofer, should I use the mono low pass output or run the main speaker lines in and out? Don't I loose the bass to the mains if I do the later? Obviously this is my first sub woofer! I suppose ones opinion may be different if I purchase the tower speakers vs. the bookself. Advise encouraged! Speakerboy
I would use the mone sub channel. Since it is the .1 in 5.1 and 6.1 applications. On your receiver there is a bass setting set it to both so the bass that comes out of your towers also comes out of you sub.
