colt45
I am just starting to set up my new house with high end sound equipment. And am in need of some advice. I am 53 and would like to buy equipment that might last a life time. 1. Is there a difference between home theater and surround sound? And what is the difference if any? 2. I will have no cable or satellite tv. So I would like to match my reviever to the speaker any ideas? thanks abunch
bismarck
Build a system one piece at a time to get what you want. Surround sound is just the surround aspect of a Home Theater, the Home Theater includes the big TV or projector also. Go to your local Klipsch dealer and check out what they offer. Listen to the different speakers and see what you want. Also, the need to match the speakers to the size and shape of the room. Are you building a HT room or just assing some speakers to a finished room?
