KungFuNat
I dont want to drill into my speakers and i have no keyholes... i have seen wall mounts that clamp on the sides of the speaker, but most only tilt down 7 degrees. i do remember seeing one that tilted down 15 degrees, but i dont remember where and i cant find it anymore. any ideas? colterphoto1
what are you trying to accomplish?
KungFuNat
my tv room is pretty small, say 16x14. my seating goes right up to the rear corners, the only place i have to mount the rears is high on the wall in the rear corners of the room. i would like to tilt them downwards a bit, as there will be people sitting almost directly under the rears. i absolutely do not want to drill holes in my speakers. colterphoto1
why rear speakers? you room is more likely to benefit from side surrounds. I'd forget about rear speakers if you have to aim them that awkwardly. Rear surrounds don't go in the corners anyway, they should be rear CENTER. KungFuNat
well, yes they are going to go on the side walls near the back corners facing directly in at the listener, but they will still be within a foot of the rear walls. i am using all triangle ES series speakers... the stella will be used for the rears... i know triangle makes a dedicated surround speaker, but i like traditional bookshelves for my rears... TheKillerTomato
My advice would be to sell all your triangle speakers, buy Klipsch, and get RB-61's for your rears, which have the threaded inserts on the back that will work with the Omnimount 20.0 speaker mount. That was easy.
KungFuNat
as much as i love klipsch and have since i was young, i have to admit, i have yet to hear any reference series speaker that i really loved... to me the triangles sound much smoother... but thanks for the advice.
