altabill
I have a chance to pick up some KFS-8.5 from an acquaintance. I dont know much about them except what I am reading here on the Klipsch website and in some older reviews. He is asking $100 for the pair. He is also selling a SW8-II subwoofer for another 40 bucks. I am helping my 17-year old son get his first real speakers and know Klipsch manufactures good stuff. These speaks would be his primary speakers until he could upgrade to a surround amp and get additional speakers. From what I am reading it seems like these speakers are pretty good. The sub, on the other hand, seems only fair. Can someone who owns this stuff give us some advice? Thanks in advance.
altabill
Sorry for the duplicate post. I couldn't find the one I did last night and thought something went wrong. Any new ideas would be greatly appreciated though.
Dale A B
I would grab those immediately - they are worth much more than that - at least the 8.5's!! The sub is probably not a good match for the fronts, but doable for the price. I'm always a little learly on sub amp's, but if operable now, what the heck? leerocker
Not sure about the sub but the 8.5s at $100 will blow you away. Go for it!
