dkalsi
Somewhat of a random question, but I picked up a pair of Klipsch KG-4 a few weeks back for 100 bucks. The speakers are in great shape with no dent or anything, with nice sharp edges However, since the speakers are black, you can see some scratches (they dont dig into the cabs, more like some paint has come off) on the speaker cabs. I wanted to know what I can do make them look better. - What can I use to paint them. Since they are not made of birch, its not like I can refinish them. I wanted to know what I can use to repaint the cabs if anyone has taken such a projected. I just want to make them look asethetically a bit more pleasing. Thanks. fastlane
I would find the best aerosol paint you can find. Krylon or other will do. Get a semi-gloss or satin finish. Don't try to just cover the bad spots, they won't match. Repaint the entire cabinets, and they'll both look like new.
dkalsi
Yeah I was definately goint to paint the entire cabinets instead of just the sports. Just didnt know what type of paint would work best to get a nice finish.
LarryC
Lots of different shades and glossiness levels of black around, I suggest you call Klipsch to get their advice. You might end up talking to someone in Hope.
