I had my speakers blasting and then all of a sudden, they made a messed up hiss-like noise and ever since that day the base has been awful makin static noises instead of outputing the power it once had. What I want to know is if they might get better over time or something because it seems like the base is a little bit better then b4, but still bad? justin_tx_16 Posted December 17, 2001 Share Posted December 17, 2001 If you have the 4.1's, there is one sub and two side firing 6.5" woofers. Those are what you can blow. Can you see any damage to the speaker surrounds? Can you tell which side is messed up? It does not sound like they are blown to me just because they are starting to sound better... that bewiders me! LoL!
