We all know about the picture one can get with HD video on disc, but if you have not experienced high defintion sound as well you are really missing out. Post your review of BD movies here. The dark cave scenes are among the best photographed dark scenes I've ever seen at home. The only downfall is the amount of film grain in the outdoor scenes. Sound: 4.5/5 The DTS soundtrack is phenominal. At over twice the bitrate you're used to on DVD it will make an impression on you. The 6.1 uncompressed PCM soundtrack is beyond anything you've heard outside a full theater. Extras: the blu-ray disc contains the alternate European ending and various commentaries.
