colterphoto1
HI Heresy Industrial, that accounts for the rounded edges and black expanded metal grille. and yes there was HIP ported and HI non ported. Looks like this baby was given a nice coat of white- very styling.
bhendrix
The industrial series Heresy's and KP-172's were available in black or white paint. We installed the white Heresy's as L&R mains with 172 flown center and rear for the middle school meeting room at church. The sound is AWESOME and the kids love it!!! Jay Registrar
Thanks coulter and bhendrix! Do you have any idea where to obtain the expanded metal grille? I.m going to be redoing a pair of Herseys, and these look nice!
Jay Registrar
Well, Coulter was right on the money. Here is what I received from Steve Phillips, Klipsch Senior Tech: Those were HI, pro Heresy's from the late 1970'sto early 1980's The front had a fascia over themotor board that covered the grill mounting, available for churches and pro sound reinforcement. As for the grilles, they are available from several sources (Google), but for the logo, it was probably screened on. In a later email he suggested using a current metal logo found on the KP-110, or the one on the KSM-8. Kudos to Coulter!
