Jphillips
I just got some new RF-3II and before those i had some KSB 1.1's running on a yamaha RX-396...which is just a stereo receiver. Now i am definitely stepping up to surround sound because i got those RF-3II as fronts and ill use the KSB 1.1 as the rears. i am most likely gonna get the RC-3 if i can afford it, but does anybody have any other suggestions for a Center. My biggest problem is finding a receiver that i can afford that will do the job. I was looking at the Denon 1801 but im not sure..that seemed like it had a reasonable price and good specs. ANYBODY have any suggestions for no more that $400..and thats pushing it..Im only 17 without a big budget. LET me know...thanks jake
mpgwagon
I prefer the Yamaha sound over the Denon. The Yamaha is not as harsh imo. You can get the RX-V520 for under $350. It's a killer receiver for the price. ------------------ Home Theater: Yamaha RX-V620 Klipsch SF1 Fronts Klipsch KSW12 Sub.
