JSP
I recently got a nice pair of cornwalls and they sound great! Only problem is that the previous owner allowed a candle to drip wax on the cloth grill of one. How can I clean it without harming the cloth? Thanks! Groomlakearea51
Place a towel under the spill. put a towel on top (or a clean, dry, 100% cotton t-shirt). Set iron at medium, medium low. Iron and it should go down to towel below. After it's gon, wash them with dish washing liquid and rinse dry; stand on side and put in back of floor fan to dry. Repeat until it's all gone. May take 2-3 times, but if you are careful, and the iron is not set too high (don't get in a hurry...) it will work fine.
colterphoto1
brown paper also wicks up the molten wax quickly. I saw a church janitor using this trick after weddings. Be sure to set the iron just hot enough to melt the wax, not the fabric.
