Subwoofer cable

Hello all, I just got a nice pw-2200 as a present and was wondering about cables. I'm in college so I'll be moving around a lot the next couple of years and was curious if it would be better to get a cable that might be longer than I need right now...but I might need the extra length later. Would the extra length hurt the performance significantly?...I'm looking at 8 meters right now. Thanks for any help

Well Monster offers a 8 meter but that's $$

Length would be how well is it sheilded.

or for the do it your selfer.

Commit the cable to memory and head out to Radio Shack

Get your desired lenght of Satellite coax

(for better sheilding)

Y-cable

and the required adaptors to turn the coax ends into the desired male and female ends

assemble and Presto!

I gotta get a digital camera to explain this better

Other folks will chime in as well!

Good Luck

Miles,

Look into Ar cables. They are cheaper than monster cable and I cant tell a difference. Also you may want to look on ebay for some good deals. Good luck.
