jro4699
I got a Klipsh Promedia 5.1 setup for Christmas. Came with the Sub, 4 satellites and center speaker. Everything works great but the sub doesn't work. When I turn the volume all the way up and the bass all the way up I hear a faint distorted sound. So...I opened it up and noticed that 1 red wire is not connected. It is hovering over J503 and the wire is crimped as if it were connected once before. Common sense tells me to connect it but I wanted a second opinion...plus I don't want to mess it up. I tried to call tech support but to no avail, PLEASE HELP ME! TheEAR
Where is Justin? Damn he missed one ProMedia post what is wring,is he sick? Anyway If you see the place where the conector can fit conect it there. If I would see a pic I could anwer your question and help more. Try Klipsch tech support or Dan F. in the tech questions ProMedia section first. If its obvious where the wire should be just conect the wire(insert all the way in) walk a couple of feet away and power the sub up.Be careful.Use great care. NEVER WORK WITH THE SUB POWERED,DISCONECT THE SUB FROM AC THEN AFTER DISCONECTING PRESS THE POWER SWITCH ON TO DISCHARGE THE CAPS Then conect the wire Powr it up Hope this helps(try Klipsch Tech support first) TheEAR(s) Now theears
