ccat
OK, I have a problem. I've had a set of klipsch speakers for about 4 years that are great. I just moved to a new house and I now have no room for the floor standing front speakers. I have considered selling them and using surrounds as a front left and right. The surrounds that I have are the SS1, I was planning on getting some more SS1's to use as front speakers. I also have a center and a sub. These speakers are used for home theater. Please help with pros/cons of not using the floor standing speakers and using SS1's instead. Thanks!
STL
You do not want the SS-1s are front main speakers. Keep them for rear speakers, and find a pair of SB-2s or SB-3s on eBay to use as from speakers. I assume the floor standing models you can no longer use are SF models, right? Are you using the SC-1 for a center? Check out the Related Products on the following link to see speakers that will mate well with your SS-1s: http://www.klipsch.com/products/discontinued/details/ss-1.aspx
ccat
The floor standing units are the SF-2 model and the center is the SC. I'll check out this link. Is there a market for these speakers? They are in great shape. Thanks
STL
You should be able to sell your SFs and pick up some SBs on eBay. Or you might try selling on Craigslist if you'd prefer to not ship them.
