jbsl Posted October 22, 2007 Share Posted October 22, 2007 I have a pair of Fortes that I am going to use with my La Scalas to get the bass below 50hz. I am unhooking the cables to the mid and treble horns so only the bass is coming out of the speakers. I guess this would make them sort of subs. Is unhooking the mid and treble horns going to cause any issues with the 12 inch woofers or my amp? I tried using the Fortes with the LS but to me the mids don't sound right. I like the extra bass but not the extra mid horns they don't match the LS mid horns. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
