Is a Rotel RSX-1055 and newer good for my RF-82 HT setup?

With many brands pushing 140 W per channel for half the price, is 75 W per channel going to do my RF-82 HT setup justice in HT and 2ch stereo modes? I am looking for a used AVR to power my HT setup. I am a newbee so I am not sure what makes Rotels superior to something like a Pioneer Elite, Denon, Yamaha, or Integra. In the short term I can not afford seperate amplifiers.

Although my emphasis is the quality of music, movies probably wins out about 70/30. As for my budget, I am not really sure yet. I have a set of HT speakers, but nothing to drive them. I just bought the speakers and spousal acceptance factor (SAF) of buying a high end amp right now is pretty low. That is why I was considering used. Any thoughts?

Well with no dollar amount to go off of, I would say that a few people here like HK, here is a link http://www.harmanaudio.com/search_browse/default.asp?sp=S&cat=REC&market=HOM, with Klipsch. But the ultimate test is what sounds better to you, everyone has an opinion. Are there any stores near you that stock your current setup that you can go and listen to different receivers with your own music?

Sorry for the absence, but I went away for a long weekend. I was thinking about cost while I was away. I can get a Pioneer Elite, Yamaha, etc for around $1000 new and a Rotel RSX-1058 for around $2000 new with no problem. I was thinking that I should probably spend around $500-$600 for a used Rotel. While I was away, a Rotel RSX-1055 sold for less than $600 on eBay and two RSX-1056's sold for less than $700. Those prices are close to what I was thinking.

My main question is if 75 W per channel going to drive my RF-82 HT set well and loud? I should have asked that originally!
