krusty46
I'm trying to set up my KLF-10's using banana connectors on my speaker cable, but the speakers don't seem to accept them. There is a "red" and a "black" cap in the middle of the speaker connection, that reminds me of the ends on a BIC pen, can this be removed? I can't seem to get theses caps out. I've read that they have to plug up the connections, something to do with Europe, but it doesn't mention if these plugs can be removed and no where in the manual for the speakers does it say anything about the binding posts. Will Spades fit on the back of the KLF-10's or am I forced to use bare wire? PLEASE HELP!!!
SteveLee
Yes, the plugs do come out so you can use banana connectors. Try gently prying them out with a small screwdriver (like the type you'd use to tighten screws on eyeglasses) or perhaps a nail file. The trick is to "get under" the edge of the plug, then it'll pop out easily ... Good luck! Steve
